Bug Reports - Non OS Specific -

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

Bug Reports - Non OS Specific -

Post by Krix »

I think it would be useful for both users and the devs of PureBasic if the bug report section has a general folder that is not OS specific. It could include the documentation related reports in itself. All bug reports could come here that are unrelated to a specific OS or are present in all supported operating systems.

I do not think that makes sense. If I find a bug on windows, I can't check if this bug occures on Linux or Mac too.

If Fred fixes a bug on one operating system, he generally checks to see if it also occurs on the other operating systems. As far as I can tell, that has never been a problem.
sorry for my bad english

I think you're right Josh. In a certain way everything besides the documentation is OS specific because it happens on a specific OS. In a rare case of somebody working with more than one OS and experiences the same bug I guess the best is to create separate, clear reports on every OS since a proper investigation is needed anyway. Hm...I guess I didn't think that through.

So I guess...never mind.

We use the 'Windows' forums as 'all version' bug as well.
