Johnny Castaway is a 1992 16 bit screen saver by Sierra On-Line. This screen saver was able to run on 32 bit systems but the 64 bit OS killed the option of ever running this screen saver again. There is information on the net on how to run this screen saver on a 64 bit OS but it took more work to get running than the average user could do or would go out of their way to do. So I have pre-configured this already, created a new launcher, added a static preview and settings window, and created an installer/uninstaller for it.

Files that it installs:
"Drive:\JohnCast\"
"Drive:\Windows\System32(SysWOW64)\Johnny Castaway.scr"

Enjoy!

It installs and runs fine, but this is what I get on Win 10 Pro (64-bit, version 1909) when I move the mouse while it's running. Then after I click "Close", I get a black DOSBox screen covering my entire desktop that can't be closed or quit (even with Alt+F4) unless I start the Task Manager with Ctrl+Shift+Esc to get back to the desktop. Then I can right-click DOSBox's taskbar button and close it.

Nice. Progman was the program manager of Windows 3.x if I remember correctly.

Also I liked that screensaver so much. I watched hours of it as a child. :D There are some Youtube videos which show you every scene in it and the whole story from begin to end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVgGfKY91Lg

@BarryG

I had the error screen one time but then it never did it again. I do not know what causes it and I assumed at the time it was my anti-virus because it only happened once when I first tried it. I would say, try it once without your anti-virus running and see if that helps. If not, I will have to try and see what could be causing that.
