I changed the color of the arrows and alignment bars to a green tone.
It should allow to have more contrast for the 2 dark and light themes.

A small animated demo of the latest feature added: Import
It allows to import templates in the current level. Here, an address template imported in a panel.

Nice! :D

Another great feature would be import all the gadgets from an standard source, so we could edit it on IceDesign

Thanks Chris... tried it and it didn't work.

Re-watched the animation and noticed that you needed to drop the imported gadgets into an 'Open Container'.

... and it works great. Nice addition. I'm sure I have many forms that could use this importation feature. 8)

Keep adding features and I'll need a help file.

Yes, of course, it would be an interesting future feature.
I didn't search but maybe some guys have already worked on the analyse part "parsing" of a .pbf(.pb) source code.
It is noted as an idea, future feature. Depending on the time available, success of IceDesign...
Have a nice WE

Congrats on the release and i look forward to use it.

Does the license allow me to use it on my desktop machine and on my two laptops with buying one license or would i need to buy three licenses - one for each computer?

Does the computer need a network connection during the software use?

The license is provided in IceDesign via Setting then the License button.
I got my inspiration from the PureBasic license:
IceDesign - Terms And Conditions

This program is provided "As IS" without any warranty. The use of IceDesign is at your own Risk.
ChrisR, author of IceDesign is Not responsible for any damage(s) attributed to IceDesign.

The Demo version of this program may be freely distributed.
You may Not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify or change, the contents of the program.

IceDesign has an user-based licence. This means you can install it on every computer you need.
But you Can't share it between two or more people.

©2021 ChrisR
So, you only need one license, it is for one user only but you can use it on as many computers as you want.
IceDesign can work without a network connection.

Thanks in advance Bitblazer

How do you tie code to an action ie: click on a Button, double click on a ListView item.

Hello ivyleaguesoftware,
It's a GUI Designer, to design a Graphical User Interface, so It is up to you to write the action, only a small part of the events are written in the event loop, to show a beginning.

If you want to go further, I advise you to use mk-soft's RAD EventDesigner V3 (All OS) following IceDesign.
One then the other, it works well :)
Up to mk-soft, It would be a bonus if it could be loaded and process started directly via a parameters (ie: EventDesigner.exe MyIceDesignForm.pb)

To avoid having the file downloaded, blocked by windows defender smartscreen and avoid having to unlock the file via its properties,
I submit IceDesign to Microsoft for malware analysis

Here is the analyst comments result of my Submission:
The warning you experienced indicates that the application had not established reputation with the Microsoft Defender SmartScreen Application Reputation feature at that time. We can confirm thaticedesign.exe, (SHA256- 1c14868e9a1369663f336131db0c00a6b786605e47d03ed1bba32a8cdfa4b453) has since established reputation and attempting to download or run the application should no longer show any warnings.
And for info, on VirusTotal, only 1 "minnor" security vendor flagged this file as malicious.

Hi HeX0R,
It's on my todo list, all current gadgets including containers (Container, Panel, Scrollarea, Canvas container) are supported except the SplitterGadget for now.
my previous reply:
ChrisR wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 10:43 am Yep, for the moment, I didn't see how I could simply make the Spiltter in the current model
and to make it look like the real one.
I preferred to move forward rather than getting stuck on this particular case.
But well, I'll have to think again later when I have a little more time, hoping to find a good idea.
I will add it as info on the 1st post
