Maybe you create a githup repository with "raw" source (not zip).
So an easier work on it is possible. Also send pull requests back to you.
Cheers !
It's made ;)
I have added a repository with current raw source (pb, pbi files, Version 0.5.8.8 (march 2021)) ;).

Great. So we need a seperate "language" file.
France is not really easy to understand ;)

Hi Icesoft ;)
Thank you for your messages ;)

I have added a new directory in github for the langage of Animatoon, but I have to update the english langage ^^. Unfortunately, I don't knwo the german langage, so I can't do the traduction for this langage ;).

Here is the directory for the langage :
https://github.com/blendman/Purebasic/t ... /data/Lang

And the repository of animatoon, with th pb/pbi file (updated this morning):
https://github.com/blendman/Purebasic/t ... /animatoon

I have fixed a bug to set the other langage in the UI (Menu file/preference). Now it works (I need to improve it, to change the gadgets and tooltip in real time, for the moment, only the menu are changed in real time, when we change the langage. The gadgets langage is loaded at the next start (for the moment, I will changed that in a next version).

Explication :
In the ZIP, there are the "data" directories. To use animatoon, we need thoses directories (they contains the images (brush, paper), presets (brush, tools...), swatch, roughboard, langage file, etc.).
In one of this directory, there are the language files, in data\Lang.

I have installed Github for desktop, so now, I can update more easily my code in github :).

So, I have update the source this morning (I have to change a lot of comments, which are in french sometimes) ;).

@Blendman,
please seperate your apps in seperate repositories.
So it is easier to get only what we want ;)
(Also unzip the data (it is not easy to change a zip: unzip, change, zip again, upload) ) Thanks

like this:

Code: Select all

https://github.com/blendman/animatoon/
https://github.com/blendman/<project_next>/

Hi

I have send a new version on Github, with lots of bugfixes and improvements :
- a big optimisation, with big images. Example (3500x25à0 pixels, 6 layers) : before : use 1,5 go of ram, now use 600 to 700Mo, it's better :)
- lots of bugfixes (tools, autosave...)
- some new functions (circle selection, cut/copy/paste with selection...), and a begining of the futur brush editor (wip).

https://github.com/blendman/animatoon

And my new images to test animatoon in "production" mode (3500 x 2500pixels, with 6 to 8 layers) :

You should use "Tags" not folders to select (go back to) a older version.
Your repository is blowing up with version folders.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to use Tags with Github ^^.

That's really nice work blendman.

I compiled it with the PB 6 C compiler and it has worked fine, in fact better than the x86 0.598 redistributable you put up. It feels a little faster and hasn't crashed yet.

Hi

Thank you a lot for your comment.
I'm happy that you find animatoon interesting.

I have compiled it ith the PB 6-C and it works fine here too ^^. I don't know its faster, I haven't no crash too.
I have to find some way to optimise thie tool (example, to use not a big image in 3500x2500 by layer, but use several "tiles" in 512x512 for example.

Cheers
