xMas Survivor - Ego-Shooter Project [DEMO]

Hi guys,
in December last year I started a game project called xMas Survivor. After a very successful development phase I released a demo version in the german forums and now want to do that here. :)

Well...as already mentioned in the title of this thread xMas Survivor is an ego-shooter and bases on a simple game concept called survivor mode (like in Max Payne 2): the player's goal is to kill as many enemies as possible on a little map and by this way to collect points which allow to unlock new weapons etc.
Later there will be also an online highscore available (my team partner is currently working on this).

The demo version just contains 2 weapons and a map. The final version is still in development.

Download:
xMas Survivor Demo 1.0 Setup
(the setup is just a self-extractor, no worry)
Control wrote: WASD - move
left mouse button - shoot
R/right mouse button - reload
1,2,3... - select weapon
Shift - sprint
C - crouch
It is recommended to patch the game before playing it!

And now, have fun! :D

I would appreciate your feedback. If there is anyone who wants to make some maps for this game just contact me.

May I ask if this is developed exclusively using PB native code, or are you using thirdparty 3D libraries?

It is written in PB but I am using another 3D Engine.

Seems that you guys do not like this kind of games, only 1 comment in two weeks..

No, the 3D engine I am using is based on DirectX and therefore it is only supported for Windows.

I'd be very interested in trying it out if it used the Purebasic 3D engine, I've been waiting for some 3D coders to show what it's capable of.

Blitz3D uses DX7 so there are no shaders available.

True

But there are a lot of plugins available...
Your graphics seem too cool for blitz3d

Maybe it is the bloom effect which makes the game look cool. I developed it myself (it is not a blitzhack or something like that). :)

Could you share how was it made?
