sorry but not really.... the install dont work here right now

Seems to work for me, just tested with a few librairies.
Some questions :
- are the libraries downloaded ?
- are the PB directories correctly set (PB3.94 and/or PB400 path) ? What are your settings ?
- wich library does not install ?

Code: Select all

...
[Options]
...
InstallTheLibraries = 1
[Dirs]
DownloadDirectory = c:\PureBasic400\Program\Update\
PB400Path = C:\PureBasic400\
PB394Path = C:\PureBasic394\
...

Thanks.
I don't notice any problem with your settings, but I see DownloadDirectory and PB400Path are on different drives. Could you test if it works if both directories are on the same drive, .i.e. DownloadDirectory = E:\Programme\Update\ ?

I have changed the directory but the same prob. all the files downloadet but not installed, only PureForm shows as updatet now!

Wat i must see if the libs installed? Is the install window hiden?

Hum, download and update status are two different things : you can download a non updated file and vice-versa. Only the checked files in the listicon are downloaded (and the libs installed if you choose so).
Note that a file is marked as updated if its file date on the server has changed since the last check ; there is no version check.

There is not extra message if the installation succeeded. It's easy to check : erase one of the libs in \UserLibraries, download it and see if it is correctly installed.

Only the libs are 'updated' (i.e. replaced in location) if you check 'And install the libraries' .
The other tools are 'only' downloaded. You have to update the old version yourself.

Gnozal,
I tried to download the tool but I got a virus alert:

Virus: "Mal/Packer" found!

Obviously since no one else has reported it I think it's an error with the software they are using here. It's McAfee Enterprise.

Any idea how else I might be able to get your utility on this machine?

I can get it at home, but I would like to use it here if possible.

Because the EXE is packed.

Without disabling / configuring the AV software, no.

Hi gnozal, I tried to use this today to check updates, and get an HTTP query failed - Error 403, Looks like the updater can't find the updated library online or something.

Kind Regards

Hi Gnozal

Are you still supporting this Updater? If so: looks like it doesn't work anymore. When I try to start it nothing happens oO

Works here ....
What do you mean, 'nothing happens' after you press the 'On line check' button ? No status or error message ?

1. I download "LibraryUpdater.zip" linked in your first post
2. I extrect it into a new folder called "LibraryUpdater"
3. I doubleclick on the LibraryUpdater.exe
4. Nothing happens - no window no application - no error - simply nothing

My System:
Windows XP Pro SP2 with all official microsoft patches
I don't have problems with any other application and Avira Anti-Vir tells me that I have no viruses on disk. I don't have a Firewall.

You don't see any window ? Just tested on XP sp2 : no problem here.

Note that nothing happens until you press the 'On line check' button.
Also note that PB4.1x libs are not handled yet (until I know wich library needs a specific version).
