Re: Using jaPB and PureFORM together
Hi Neil,Neil wrote:Hi gnozal,
I'm sorry to ask this question, as I have seen that you have answered similar questions before, but I am still not 100% clear on how to use jaPB and PF together.
you have to use PureFORM as a plugin : have a look at http://gnozal.ucoz.com/PureFORM/SourceUpdating.htm.

Hi, just wanted to ask if development of jaPBe has stopped, the last update was April last year?
Thanks,

viiartz, gnozal has not posted on this forum for over a year now. We do not know what has happened to him and he has not responded to private messages either. I think we have probably lost his contribution to PB, I just hope he is alive and well.

PureForm and jaPBe have been great contributions to PureBasic, and we all hope that gnozal is well. Would be nice to get a short contribution by him in this forum about his situation. I think we all sould thank him for his work and wish him the best.
A small interesting note: Vanya has developed a very mighty GUI library for FreeBasic which is very close to PureBasic (see http://www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopi ... 14&t=17058, and enform has created a translator which translates PB code created by PureForm to FreeBasic code http://www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopi ... t=PureForm so that it is possible to use PureForm also for FreeBasic.

You've forgot the link....watson45 wrote:jaPBe is a powerfull Windows programming editor for Purebasic x86.
I have modified the original jaPBe to be PB4.xx compatible, added some nice features and fixed some bugs (see Readme.txt).

this is the original quote from gnozal written 2006. I think, watson45 is a bot.Bisonte wrote:You've forgot the link....watson45 wrote:jaPBe is a powerfull Windows programming editor for Purebasic x86.

Re: jaPBe 3.13.4 [IDE for PB 4 and PB 5]
In particular number of times or more of the build, PureBasic5.exe is infected to malware. Therefore, it was not infected with PureBasic official editor. This is by anti-virus software of WEBROOT, there was a threat of detection. I can not trust the JaPBe.
The source code is the same.
Compile by JaPBe ... WEBROOT alert malware
Compile by PureBasic editor ... OK
My software had suspected virus infection in Japan for 10 years. The cause is JaPBe.

Re: jaPBe 3.13.4 [IDE for PB 4 and PB 5]
The cause is more likely to be your compiler settings are slightly different, and your AV program is issuing a false positive. Send the file to them with a false positive report, and see what comes back.
I have yet to see an AV program that has accurately detected a virus from PB code. Maybe one was generated many years ago, and that has caused many false positives since. If we keep bombarding the AV companies with false positive reports, then maybe they will fix their problems.

You can add the stuff you need manualy (add a new line for each entry).dige wrote:Does anyone know how to update the Ref-PureBasic.txt?

@nicolaus: OK. But I was hoping that you I could just read and convert a resident file from PureBasic..
