(PB v5.70b1) SysTray subsystem QT

No right events from SysTray. Only unknown event by double-click.
Show purebasic example...

Which Linux did you use ? I can see this behavior as well on Ubuntu 17.10 but the code seems correct. May be a QT issue here with ubuntu

EventType not work on:
- MacOS (10.13.5)
- Ubuntu 1710 (X64)
- Ubuntu 1804 (X64)

with PB Version
- v5.46, v5.61, v5.62, v5.70 (QT)

Ubuntu said already 2010 officially "Fairwell to the notification area" aka Systray. Afterwards there existed several PPA solutions bound to specific Ubuntu versions. You may take a look into this thread or this description.

Beginning with 17.10 Ubuntu gave up Unity and uses Gnome since then. It uses a customized Gnome theme which looks like the former Unity desktop. Unfortunately Gnome doesn't like the Systray neither. Gnome 3.26 removed the legacy system tray in 2017 (which was introduced with Gnome 3.16). Gnome's system tray is a little pull-out panel that hides in the lower left corner of the main Gnome Shell desktop.

So in essence I would strongly advise to don't utilize the system tray in any Linux program which should be executable on different Linux distributions... :wink:
