[Done] 5.20B10 - IDE Crash during Copy/Paste in FormDesigner

Post by nalor »

It happens in PB 5.11 and in PB 5.20B10 x86

# start PB
# create a new form
# add a container gadget
# add a text gadget to the container gadget
# copy the text-gadget to clipboard
# now create another new form
# try to paste the text gadget to this new form
# >> PB stops responding.

Hi! Tried it with 5.11 x64 on Win7x64 and the same crash happens...

The important step is to add the text-gadget into the container!

I think the issue occurs because a gadget located inside a container should be copied to a form without a container...

Confirmed.

Followed the exact steps nalor provided with x86 and x64 5.20b10 LTS and the IDE stops responding.

Hi nalor,

Edit: Sorry, I copied it onto the container the first few times.
Your result confirmed, once I copied it into the container.
Thanks for your persistence.

Hi nalor. Very specific sequence, but you're right; it does fail.
