For Windows 10, Microsoft are moving over to a XAML based UI. It sounds like the classic controls PB uses now will be dropped.

It's all about UWP apps, not Win32 applications.

The problem is that Microsoft tells/influences the people that this is the last war to end all other wars.
We have many dead-ends like Flash, Silverlight, Win32(!) and yes, UWP.
Why not simply accept web technology even for desktop applications as solution???
Performance? Ever seen FarCry5 streamed on mobile phone? Yes, it's already done!
