Haha, I haven't seen that Bond in a long time!
No, I am saying the office worker just drops their cell phone on a desk that already has a keyboard and monitor.
Think docking station for a laptop.
Those workers don't carry spare anything.

However, I connect a big monitor and wireless keyboard and voila, mobile pc.
That said, when you see how much a smartphone heats up for the simple viewing of a movie, I suppose that if you ask it to do everything you do with a Desktop, it will turn into a BBQ :mrgreen:

And for smartphones: As long as producing a native smartphone application requires Java (at one time or another) it will not be for PB. This would require a complete rewrite and transform PB into bloatware :?

:wink:

X64 => 307 000 000 000 of additions per seconds
ARM => 1 000 000

I suppose Icesoft need not use such these performances anymore.

I hope it is for a good news in his personnal life...

Smart phones be the future. PB doesn't support this devices.
Arm devices are the future.
I guess x86 will die or will be emulated on future arm devices.

Yes, because Intel doesn't have an army of designers and scientists working on what's next... :idea:

In the 1980s Bill Gates predicted totally paperless offices within 5 years. Here we are nearly 40 years later and we can't chop trees down fast enough!
Only difference is that it is all A4 and not tractor driven continuous paper now. :lol:

paperless office Hell. There are many desk jobs where by law you can't even have a cell phone on you because of the camera. (Aka a call centre) or a Casino, Also look at most banks they print off paper by the truck load. For legal Reasons all notices of any kind are in printed form.

If the screen on a average phone was bigger and if there was a simple way to guarantee the right person got all there messages. You might have a shot.

The reason people want a paperless office is the money it would save but we are so far from that it's not funny...

IOS and Android are the only players and SpiderBASIC is years old... Most dev tools for those two are garbage; no UI/UX API, no access to things like "Administrators", key-stores, app permission structures, power management callbacks'''... It's basically SB with extensions or Android Studio and Xcode.. If you care about productivity and feature balance which is pretty much life and death for a solo dev...

It's not even worth talking about 3D games.. Show me a 3D game app written by a solo dev that has a community or customers..
The truth hurts.

Sorry to see you go.

Never owned a mobile phone of any kind. I find them annoying and dislike seeing the tops of peoples heads every where I go.
