Post by Zebuddi123 »

Hi to All.

I was wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with running "crucial ballistic 2133mhz ddr3 1.65v" @ 1.5v 1333mhz in my board the supports 1.5\1.35v natively. done quite a bit of research and found no joy so far. any advice appreciated

Zebuddi. :)

Read the manufacture name of the chip, get the datasheet and check operational voltages. The easiest way, but as always, YMMV according to the general (in)compatibility of your board with certain modules.

Hi bbanelli thanks for the reply. :) The dimm`s are for my dell t3500 and the dimm`s were "Crucial Technology 4GB DDR3 2133MT/sBallistix Elite UDIMM"50% off, 8 available. :( too.

So I believe they are from German market. Only data sheet i can find https://gzhls.at/blob/ldb/5/b/c/c/7db6c ... c067a0.pdf The part number does not tally with the 4gb PN "Crucial BLE4G3D21BCE1J Crucial Technology 4GB DDR3 2133MT/sBallistix UDIMM" Only 2gb dimm matches speed of 2133mhx(xmp) and the latencies are wrong! where the 4gb dimms are CL11 (11-11-11-27).

Decided in the morning/mourning  I will be collecting refurbished (sounds better) 12gb(3x4gb) ddr3 1600mhz 1.5v for £33 with 2 year warranty.
