Hello,
Is anyone having problems with PureBasic 5.73 TLS (x64) on Debian 10 Linux when you select New Project from the menu. PureBasic crashes immediately. The demo version has the same error too. I can open *.pd and *.pdi file with no problem. Can compile the example programs but I can not make a new project. The following error message in the terminal.
free(): double free detected in tcache 2
Floating point exception
New Project Crashes IDE - PureBasic 5.73 TLS (x64)

I can't reproduce it on my Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS, but similar things have been reported in the past:

Maybe try with a new preferences file as Shardik explained in the first linked thread, you might have an invalid Source Directory setting. (Or just check the setting in the preferences dialog and correct it if necessary)

Also works fine for me on MX Linux 19.3 with both Xfce and KDE Plasma desktops. 5.73 LTS - same with previous releases.
Sounds like reasonable advice.#NULL wrote:Maybe try with a new preferences file as Shardik explained in the first linked thread, you might have an invalid Source Directory setting. (Or just check the setting in the preferences dialog and correct it if necessary)
