[solved] How to record short clips from IP camera?

Hi,
I like to use an old Android phone with IP Cam App to record short video clips using PureBasic on my Linux machine.
Sadly, I do not find any API or comandline tool to get this working. I would be happy to write the video by myself but it would be better to run a comandline tool that does it for me (like camera data, filename and duration to record).
Does someone have a good start point for me? Some hints about possible software to use?
