Same here: Error 403
(note that the links are weird: they mention 5.71 and not 5.72, but even changing, it's the same)

Good idea to make an x86 + x64 version in the same package, I hope there is the possibility to install both versions at the same time and not just one then (or) the other.

I'm guessing that's just a marketing thing, and that it's really just the x86 version so as not to confuse newbies. Because as we know, 32-bit PureBasic apps will run on 64-bit PCs without a problem. I doubt it'd be both packages.

No real reason why the 32-bit version can't make either 32 or 64 bit code (that said, the 64 bit version could also do the same).

Not all OS specific reported bugs have been processed yet.
For example the IDE bug with open Session History in macOS.

Shall we wait or check it again and report it again.

Thanks for this bugs fix, Fred and all involved PB tinkerers.
I just love seeing bugs hunted, chased and flattened right out of existence.

Also, many thanks for taking the time to improve how you present new PB releases. The links to the various corrected bugs make the process very informative and really help in following how PB is evolving.

In 5.72 is a very large font.
In screenshot top window is 5.72. The bottom window is 5.71.



In 5.71, the font size is like that of other applications. In 5.72, the font size is larger than other applications.

I see the font difference too, but it looks OK to me (on Windows at normal 100% scaling).

Thanks for including the GitHub contributions... Escape hotkey on the Build All window, and Purge Empty Sessions, are 2 IDE tools I can disable now


Here's an odd observation... in past IDE versions the Preferences opens to the first "General" page.
In the 5.72 Beta the Preferences opens to the "Language" page and "General" is scrolled off the top...

Probably because the pref window is a bit too small now for the new font. I will fix that

Sure, the font resized a little, but why does Preferences default to a different page? That's the weird part.
