Are there plans to audit Linux version 5.72?
Do I wait for the checkinstall update?
Let's hope it's 5.73.
I wish everyone good health!

Thank you very much Fred and team.

And it still amazes me of the installer size lol! So much power in so little space!

Or you could help making the linux installer project better.

The license is as open as possible, the full sources to all components are completely available and the goal is to support any existing linux. If your favorite one doesn't work for some reason, tell me why and we might be able to find a solution and make purebasic linux usage better for all :)

It might be difficult to cover specialties like 3d development hardware support for any special existing linux version, but we could certainly give it a try and at least cover as much as possible.

xubuntu(32) 16.04 last update zlib 1.2.8
./compilers/purebasic: /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libz.so.1: version `ZLIB_1.2.9' not found (required by ./compilers/purebasic)

I didn't start testing because I was waiting for the first Linux changes to be announced, but I only saw win, mac and the release.

That is why I consider the official updated checkinstall !!!

You should consider upgrading to a 64 bit system. Many Linux distributions have stopped supporting x86 packages.
The english grammar is freeware, you can use it freely - But it's not Open Source, i.e. you can not change it or publish it in altered way.

PB This is a tool.
I can't impose on clients which system to use.

I will give up 32 systems when Fred says he doesn't support them from this day forward.

p.s. Very need official list of requirements for Linux systems from FANTAISIE SOFTWARE

best wishes for everyone good health

Sorry, but new IDE is nearly unusable on macOS 10.15.4, crashes a lot at opening first file, please see Mac bug forum.

Edit: Tested a lot and it only happens on MacBookPro.

Thanks to mk-soft this seems to be a regression bug with the Touch Bar: https://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewto ... 94#p551962

Many thanks to Fred and PB-team for updates(PLEASE, don't stop and don't leave us without your beautiful & strong brainchild). Which is no longer a boy, but a husband (about IDE!). And whose age is already more than 20 years. Thanks to your hard work, many things are really easy to do. I asked you not to stop, because the present time is a train. And if you stop, you/we can see only last railway carriage (somewhere far ahead). I understand that this requires our additional material support. Generally I agree with mk-soft:
Time for a donation, who can.
And for another reason, too. Everyone knows about the current tense situation. Let all the bad go away as soon as possible. And everything will return to the normal (work etc).

I wish you continued development and prosperity, but most importantly health.
Attention! I don't make money from PB-projects and never did it (enthusiast), but I really like PB (for it power). I don't care that PB is not an international standard like C++ (I still love PB). And many thanks to all professionals and PB-community on this forum for sharing their knowledge (disinterestedly).

And yes... now I'm OK, because I'm an official user.

Thank you again and I'm sorry if something is wrong/not right (I use online Google-translator).

Good luck!
