I will add my name to the list of tired-eyes who find the new colour scheme too low in contrast.
I use the standard 'prosilver' scheme for the forum and find it much easier to read.
I also mess the red logo.

Damnit, the Tassie Devil is right. This 60 year old Melbournite is getting eye strain from the washed out colours. Sorry Fred.

That's because the support is very important. Triple p.
I agree with the fact that this blue and grey feels a bit sad. What about adding some red?

A general remark about punctuation: unlike French, in English, an exclamation or a question mark is not preceded by a space. "Is PureBasic good? It's good!"

I agree with most of the comments... the color is a little drab.

Here's a statement from a web design site...
Your website color palette should not only reflect your brand, but also appeal to your audience. Otherwise, people might be turned off by your site without even realizing it.
This is a great read for all you page designer want-to-be's

Fred wrote:Hi everybody,

The old PB website showed its age (18 years ) so we decided to use redo it using the same template as SpiderBasic one. Took a while but it's up and we would be glad if you could run some test on it (especially user account etc.) to see if all works as intended. I hope you like it !

Have fun,

The Fantaisie Software Team.

ps: if someone has an idea to change the 'building' grayscale image to a new grayscale image but with another pattern on it, feel free to contact me in PM !
Looks better! I was going to volunteer to update it next year if you hadn't yet.

I also prefer higher contrast--gray on white is hard to read.

Will you also be updating the forum? Many phpbb's that are kept current play well with phones now--see an example:
https://forum.odroid.com/
On a desktop it looks pretty much like pb's forum, but on my Android phone, it fits everything into a readable format, whereas PB requires a LOT of zooming.

Thanks!

Tenaja, when you open the forum from a mobile phone when you're not logged in, it tells you that you can use the TapATalk app to use the forum.

As far as I know, the login is only needed for the downloads. Why is a complete line wasted?

I think in the old version the login was on the download page and that's where it should be.
sorry for my bad english

Thank you all for the comments, correct some issues. About the gray on white color, do you mean the text or the gray blocks ? What would you like instead (darker gray for text, blocks ?)

More contrast. Darker letters. Red 'Z'

Nice! Could change color scheme to differentiate between Spider Basic.

Spiderbasic is red accent, PB is blue accent.

Fred, what platform did you use? (I'm guessing not WordPress?)
