Yes, just you have to put 'qt' in the subsystem and you PureBasic program will use it instead of GTK. You will need to install the qt5 dev package to be able to link a qt app

Is there a plan to support Windows also?
That would unify the gadgets and add functionality.

Sorry again; but I have still to ask...
Q Widgets, all Q classes, etc. accessible from PureBasic at the moment for Linux?

For now Qt is wrapped into PB gadgets so it doesn't adds functionality (and it's not easy to use custom commands of the framework as it's all C++). For now, there is no plan to add support for other plateforms.

No, native Q widget are not available from PB. That said you can make your own user lib and add the gadget you want from Qt, but it needs some work.

What has changed in the dependencies for QT???

Confirm: Ubuntu 18.04(64) start IDE = segmentation fault

Thanks Fred for your commitment and the whole team. I still dream of an ARM version of PureBasic even if it is a lite version of libraries (window, gadgets, serial port and Database) for me it would already be great to completely abandon FreePascal .. rsrsrsrsrsr

Even more now that there are rumors that Apple intends to launch an ARM-based MacBook and this IOT market only grows.

As a song says here in my country: - Dreaming costs nothing.

PB 5.7 b1, tried to recompile PCI-Z, it works without debugger, but when debugger is activated, I get "Procedure stack has been corrupted." while using AllocateMemory() and some WinAPI calls. Previous stable version of PB works as expected.

Team, if you wish, I will gladly share whole source with you.

Edit: without Purifier enabled, debugger is silent.

Well, the innovations are important.
3D has also become indispensable.
But I was a little surprised that old, intensively discussed ugly bugs were not fixed.
But maybe it is too early to complain about this with the 570b1.
It would be helpful if some bug fixes were added to the final !?

Otherwise I am of course pleased that the development continues and thank you for the effort.

PB adds new exciting stuff with some new bugs with every new release, why should it care about the past ?
Who is going to persistently mention some bugged asm code the compiler produced which has been reported 3-5-10 years ago when you can rotate a cube in 3D with some simple commands and show it to your dog ? Just some pedantic asshole who cares about a variable changing value randomly or some other improbable bizarre behavior, let me tell you. They should look at the cube with the rest of the community and shut up. :mrgreen:

If you would be fair, you would say we also fix a tons of bugs at each release, but it's may be too much to ask. :mrgreen:

@DontTalk...
I think you're being sarcastic about this, or you don't know much about it.
Complicated things are based on simple.
You can't build a stable and good house with bad foundations.
Try yourself to realize a big complicated project for all three OS.
Then you will quickly realize what it means when things don't work the way they should.
If you only use PB to view 3D demo codes with your dog, that's OK, have fun :wink:

@Fred
I didn't want many bugs fixed by you, just one in itself.
I ask for almost two years in vain.
Is that too much to ask ?
