I suggest http://nxsoftware.com and http://freenet-homepage.de/gnozal to be linked to
in the 'links' section. Those are invalueable sources of PB knowlegde and libraries imho!

One of my very first programs written in PB. I programmed it for a fansite of a game, which I played at that time. Its not a coding highlight (thank god, this is not open source ;) ), but it think it's shiny.
However, the programms live will run out and it wont be available on this site anymore in the future, because it may get replaced by an html version. So its your choice

Well... my PB based product is not as exciting as a game. It is, however, the number 1 free rPOS (Restaurant POS) software in the world!

I have 27,000 downloads so far this year and from places globally Azerbaijan to Zimbabwe (yes I realize the irony of that!)

It is FREE software and has a range of utilities included to edit the menu and the complex details of the running of your business. A retail shop version is coming soon.

I have even integrated with a credit card processing service and you can accept Credit Cards internally in system.

I reallyhave to post the free games from my site as well!

Doesn't have to be exciting, you did good stuff and put the effort in so it's worth showing.

GridStream Player

http://www.gridstream.org/ (official download site)

Click on Get GridStream Player and a window opens, there is an image there of the VUMeter/Loudness Meter.

http://www.gridstream.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9044 (official support forum)

Image found there as well.

That VUMeter is actually the main application, truly minimalistic, there is a preference window but that's hardly interesting.
If anything this will let you put up a "screenshot" of a VUMeter which is always pretty :P Let me know if you want one without the dB indicator shown. (can be toggled in preferences window)

PureBasic is mentioned in the manual (Manual.html in program folder), the images of the manual (displaying all features) are found in the "gfx" folder.

There is also a splash window shown when starting the player that displays the PureBasic logo.

Wiki article about GridStream: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GridStream

Just how popular is the player? Well considering that Winamp and a certain Apple and some Linux apps are dominant, this player is used by over half the listeners most likely for the same reasons that make PureBasic so popular. Good features, no bloat, resource friendly, simple to use/understand, etc.
