Forums update

Post by Fred »

Hi there,

We will perfom soon a phpBB update from 3.0 to 3.2 and if all works OK, to 3.3. That means the forums will be offline for some hours (or days if something goes wrong). It also means that all forums customization will be lost as the database needs to be clean before updating (3.0 is very very old). Posts and accounts should of course still be here after the update.

Sounds great! I missed the forum for a few moments. Does that mean you were successful?
The english grammar is freeware, you can use it freely - But it's not Open Source, i.e. you can not change it or publish it in altered way.

Now can you please do the same thing with the German board? Thank you! <3

Since you can read 2007 or 2008 at the bottom ...
I don't think that an update happened already

Discourse is a very nice, modern forum platform:

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

It's done, it's now pbpbb 3.2. Another update to 3.3 should follow once all forums will be migrated (german and french remaining). If you find something odd, don't hesitate to tell !

How to change theme or colors?

Not a 'problem' as such, but the new CODE area only shows about 12 lines of source code, and isn't very wide either. Would be awesome if this could be greatly increased! :)

Excellent,
The pages are now much easier to read on a SmartPhone and the code window has a "Code: Select all" option that allows you to copy all the code without scrolling.

Thanks Fred & Team

Is there a possibility to change back to board style back to subsilverPlus?
The new design is horrible :(

OMFG

Where is the full width board design? Also I am missing the link to the latest and active posts.
The board does not look good at all at the moment.

Ah, it's under Quick links. Well, at least I found this again. Still horrible design.
