Official PureBasic blog!

How come this hasn't been announced?

http://www.purebasic.fr/blog/

I did a search here for "purebasic blog" and there's no mention of it.
Did I miss something?

Maybe because it just came out today, according to the date of the first post.

Well it's August 30 here, so I thought it had been a day with no announcement.

Good job, stealing the announcement! :P
We can't keep anything secret around here it seems.

<official announcement>

We now have a blog.
http://blog.purebasic.com/

( http://www.purebasic.fr/blog/ until the redirection works)

</official announcement>

The idea is to talk a bit about whats going on behind the scenes, so we don't have to explain it all at once when releasing a new version and also just because people may find it interesting.

Its called "random thoughts on purebasic development", and thats exactly what it is. Its no "work log" or anything of that sort. If there is no news for a while, it means nothing. Just that we don't feel like talking. This is an experiment. We'll see what comes of it. Nevertheless, we hope you guys enjoy reading it.

(btw, the blog was up since August 27 but empty, i'm surprised nobody spotted it sooner)

Now where is my red cape...

:oops: Oh well, that'll teach you to only publish something when you're ready to announce it. :twisted:

We had to test it first :)
Also, the redirection on http://blog.purebasic.com/ does not work yet.
