Comment:
The PureBasic Survival Guide is as essential as the PB compiler, especially helpful if you are just getting started with PB. It's years of work and it's brilliant.

This guide was extremely valuable, second-to-none in helping me get up and running quickly with PB, i wish i could put a figure on how many hours of trial & error it inevitably saved me! thankyou so much for your work and sharing your knowledge bluenzl

Thank you ! I think I wouldn't have discovered so much about PureBasic without your guide. It's a must ! Happy that it's still alive :)

Thx for the compliment! I was going through the guide and noticed whole sections are completely outdated, so rewriting little by little now.

I may need to redo all the graphics related stuff... Hmpf

Had some other activities, work and family related stuff, and other nerdy projects getting in the way (homecinema, some homematic domotics, some unfinished refurbishing, even build my own furniture, books to read and movies to watch and games to play, kids to take care of, and work for a living, the usual too many things too little time).

I've installed the latest LTS and looked at all the changes. Hmpf. Lot of work coming up I guess...

Some minor changes to the guide for now, mostly some fixes variable / memory related.

I'm now playing around with some of the newer features of 5.70 LTS and will add the most important / obious ones, then will update the graphical and DPI related stuff (with my ever decreasing eye sight that DPI related stuff becomes more and more important, sigh).

What is, by the way, you guys'n'girls think the most interesting topic to add or rewrite? Preferably something that my ol' brains still can handle 8)

(Yes. I really did build my own 2.5 x 1 m drop leaf table.)
