I am having a strange problem, which started recently.
I am running Windows 10, 64 bit, and PB version 5.73
I can edit the source of my program, but when I run it, it does not automatically save the source to the PB file. So it runs the old version which is still in the file. Even if I save the file manually by going to the "File" menu, "Save" item, when I run it it still runs the old version. So PB is not actually saving to disk. However, if I exit PB it asks me if it's OK to save it. Then when I run PB again, it loads the file with the changes I made. So every time I want to make any changes to the source, I have to exit PB and run it again.
I even tried saving the file manually and then reloading it, but it still does not work.
This started recently and I cannot understand what caused it.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you,
Robert

I have also had this strange behavior.
It was OneDrive that had restored the old codes.

Re: Source changes ignored?
I kept experimenting and found that by changing permissions for the pbcompiler.exe file, I was able to solve the problem.

I then screwed with the security settings and Defender.
It looks like Defender detects the changed codes as a virus and then restores the old codes via the backups on OneDrive.
At least that's how it was for me.
That was pretty bad.
Best Regards Saki

Yes, it seems that for some reason PB looks like a virus than most other programs.
Thanks for your input. I will keep an eye on OneDrive too.
