I just set this matching flag on preferences : File -> Pref -> Editor -> Auto-complete ->
<< [X] Add closing keyword if 'Tab' is pressed two times. >>

Then I test it and was okay.
[M] [A] [C] [R] [O] [Tab] [Tab]

causes this :

Macro|EndMacro

Just press [Enter] to separate the two keywords...

Hmm - in 5.71 beta 2 this is labeled:

and thus I didn't associate that with the desired behavior.

Which version are you using?

Anyway, thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Yes, that's just a wrong description (also in the German translation).
In the French translation, it correctly reads 'Tab'.
