I thought it was a better, clearer design at first. Maybe not
I get that they both go through the WebGadget.
Am I right to believe that the gadget does not work with latest JS code though? I'm not sure about it. It says "ActiveX from IE 4.0+" in the documentation, so that doesn't sound great. All ES6 specifics don't work, but I may be mistaken somewhere.
