Problems with Amiga version of PureBasic

I installed it and added a PureBasic assign to my user-startup file.
Editor starts and I get the following error:

Code: Select all

PureBasic:Compilers/PBCompiler/: not enough memory available
PureBasic:Compilers/PBCompiler/: failed returncode 10
I have an Amiga 1200 without any fastmem? Is that a requirement of PB for Amiga?

Thanks in advance

Update: Ahh. Standard amiga commandline tool out of memory error. Guess that kinda answers my question.

Anyone know the average memory requirements?

PureBasic should run fine on an unexpanded A1200, although obviously this will depend on what you have running in the background.

If I remember correctly there were issues with PureBasic and some third-party Workbench enhancement programs, but I cannot recall the details.

Kind regards,

Francis.

To efficiently use an Amiga 1200, you need at least 4MB of fast ram and a hard drive.
