Lost Labyrinth for Amiga?

Post by Brujah »

I just uploaded our game Lost Labyrinth in a Windows and Linux Version.
And I really would like to know if it can be compiled and used for AmigaOS too.

Could anybody try it and give me feedback?

If i'm not misstaken the Amiga version has many functions that is not named the same as in the other PB versions, so i think it'll require quite a lot of work to make it work on Amiga..

This is true. You should try on OS X, it has much higher chances to run without many changes.

Plus, the highest version number of PB-Amiga is 2.90, so anything added to PB after that will be missing also. So, depending on which commands you're using - plus the problems mentioned above - you may want to reconsider cross-developing for the Amiga (of which I own 3!).

This is not to say that you can not develop great games for the Amiga with PB - you certainly can. But developing cross-compatible games for all those platforms could be tricky...and may or may not be worth the effort (unless you are a diehard AmiFan like me (note my username ;) ) in which case it may be fun to try.
