Hello, who can I talk to about getting Pure Basic ported to other platforms?
Thanks.

We don't have the manpower to support other platform for now, 3 is more than enough
Re: Alternative Platforms
Okay, thanks, I hope to use the Pure Basic in the future.
I am running Fedora and Win10.
Basic seems to be fun to use.
I started on the C64 and would love to use Basic again.

PB works on those platforms. Which platforms would you like it ported to?Trekiej wrote:Okay, thanks, I hope to use the Pure Basic in the future.

Re: Alternative Platforms
Wrong answer. You're supposed to say: "Please email us with your offer and business terms and we'll consider it." That way you're not saying no (so it ends up being the person retracting their request); or they might surprise you with a very large cash injection to make it happen. Win-win for you either way.Fred wrote:We don't have the manpower to support other platform for now, 3 is more than enough
Re: Alternative Platforms
In a rather oblique sense; wouldn't SpiderBasic work on many platforms as it creates code that be complied to run within bowsers?

Yes, that's precisely what SpiderBasic is for.
Re: Alternative Platforms
I have to admit I'd love to see a more updated PB version for Amiga. But it certainly won't come from Fred. I mean the source is open since how long? 3.94 seems to ring a bell... maybe it was before/after...
