Is this expected to work on the Mac?

Re: Hierarchical Tree/Organization Chart recommendations

Thanks Olliv, I was actually asking about building something generally like this: https://d2slcw3kip6qmk.cloudfront.net/marketing/blogs/chart/4-online-tools-planning-family-reunion/family_reunion_sample_chart-720x487.png I think a canvas gadget with other gadgets as the nodes seems to be the way to ...

Very helpful, thanks Bernd!

What made you choose to write your server in PB vs. something like node.js?
Did you find anything in particular missing in PB for writing this kind of server? e.g. Built-in SSL/TLS support.

High-volume network server ?

Using the PB Network library to develop a server, how best to handle a high-volume of client requests (e.g. REST) to a server? At a high-level, what is the best architecture? Should I have one server process with CreateNetworkServer() which receives all the initial requests, but which then hands off...

Re: New Function GeteMailError()

It would be helpful if there was a function that could return the details of the error that caused the SendMail() to fail. I could then log/display the reason do the user would have some idea what cause the problem. My suggestion is GeteMailError(). Sounds like a useful and reasonable request, but ...

Re: Hierarchical Tree/Organization Chart recommendations

Excellent, thanks guys! What do you think I should use to render the nodes? Should I use another gadget to represent the node, or draw the node using a drawing library? I was thinking of using a gadget, for example the panel gadget or another canvas gadget. Seems like this would give the most flexib...

Hierarchical Tree/Organization Chart recommendations

Any recommendations on developing a PB app with an interactive hierarchical tree/organization chart? I would like to have nodes with lines between them showing relationships, allow the user to click on nodes for further actions, move/drag nodes around to change relationships, etc. Would this best be...
