Hi, is Raafal dead ? The domain seems available. Just being morbidly curious.

Re: Include non-images in the executable
Where is the problem with the fact it's not an image ?
You can do it the same way: IncludeBinary "name.txt"
Then you Peek* or CopyMemory() from the right memory address using a label and read back.

Indeed but you and everyone else should post all this in the bug forum, here this can be rightfully ignored or innocently missed.MrMat wrote: but there are still a lot of scaling issues. For instance, the toolbar icons are too small

Re: Not allow defining constants twice
This would be criminal.
So including something with 100 constants where 70 of these are already in PB residents would cause the compiler to complain 70 times and I would have to delete anything already defined, even if with the same value, from the include.
And then if other 5 constants are added ...

Re: Apple deprecates OpenGL
It can't be done, name mangling it's not standard, every compiler does it its way, C++ does not even specify name mangling as part of the implementation standards.StarBootics wrote: Maybe Fred should find a way to solve the C++ OOP libraies mangling so we can use any libraries as easy as the C libraries.

Re: Apple deprecates OpenGL
All the crossplatform OpenGL-based libraries maintainers that are around will be so happy.
I am not very interested in that kind of "low level" APIs; but will that affect PureBasic?
AFAIK PureBasic uses OpenGL on Linux and OSX for its 2D graphic (sprites etc).

Re: Unclear about the 32/64-bit implications
There are software bridges to use 32 bit ODBC from a 64 bit process but there is no point when you can write 32 bit software in the first place and be happy with it.

Re: Unclear about the 32/64-bit implications
In practice and for normal software the answer is no, unless your programs need or work better with a lot of RAM.
If you are happy with the 2GB limit for your 32 bit process, just write 32 bits software and you will not miss anything.

Yes, stringbuilders in PB and strings prepended with the actual length would be useful language additions.
