Re: Key reading in a Window
Somehow I remembered the canvas gadget for mouse tracking, but not the one for keyboard tracking. Yes, this is what I was after, thank you!

Re: Key reading in a Window
I'm making block breaker and am using the escape key for an ingame menu. Also possibly future cheat codes. Windows is the OS.

Key reading in a Window
For the life of me I can't figure out how to read input coming from the keyboard without opening a screen, windowed screen, or a console, and of course the program I've been working on is using a plain Window. I've tried adding a keyboard shortcut, using a canvas gadget, google, this site, the PDF ...

Re: Incorrect Formula
#PB_Any. Somehow I completely forgot about that. Thanks, this helps quite a bit. The way I'm trying to do this is by having every block in the game be an image Gadget, because I haven't learned about drawing to the screen (I did at some point, but nothing stuck), So I was making 144 Image Gadgets to ...

Incorrect Formula
I've been trying to recreate Block Breaker in PureBasic, as I am still relatively new, but I can't quite get this one formula to work. I tried to save about 140 lines of code with this one For loop, which is designed to assign Consecutive integer Values to a Two dimensional array. The reason I am ...

Re: VD Problem
Ah, thank you. This is the first programming language that I've learned that is sophisticated. Only other one was True Basic Bronze, which you can barely do anything in.

VD Problem
I am running the 64 Bit Purebasic package, v 4.61. Whenever I use the Visual designer, everything works fine until I press Project, Generate source. Then, whenever I run the file, It doesn't bring up the window, and simply says "The Program Execution has Finished." Also, this is assuming I already ...

Re: Catch, Load and Play the Core Audio Format
Still a lot of developers choose to develop for iOS since in general the profits are higher.
I agree, but still, nearly all either have, or soon develop an Android version once they release their iOS version. Also, I did not state 39% as an official fact, I just said that's the results of one ...

Re: Catch, Load and Play the Core Audio Format
TBH, wouldn't you want something that's cross-platform, and non-memory-hogging, such as possibly MP3's (I've been told that they are very compressed, and they seem to use very little of my computer's resources)? I'm new to this language in specific, but not computers. In fact, just googled a survey ...

Audio File Compatibility
I can't find this anywhere, the help file, Google, here, so I ask, could I have a list of the audio file formats Pure Basic is compatible with? All I could come up with were .Ogg and .Wav. And FLAC, but I've never heard of that before, and have no idea what it is.
