Thanks for the nice example Jan2004.

Thanks Mindphazer. Good to know it works for you. :D
I find it much better than the EditorGadget() for visual displays.

LogViewGadget PBI

Always looking for better ways to do things, I worked with my favorite AI guy, and improved my logging ability. Basically a WebGadget used for logging. Hope it works for you, as I only tested it with Win 11 Pro.

Re: Help custom gadget

This is an example of using mk-soft's CanvasButtonGadget.
I have modified the PBI file to create 'vertical' icon/text rather than mk-soft's horizontal layout. The vertical layout is very similar to most Android phone icon layouts, which is popular at the moment.

First the PBI include source code ...

Re: Help custom gadget

Thanks mk-soft,
I just completed a project, and had to use a combination of Image and Hyperlinks.. workable but difficult to move around. Wished I would have found this sooner. Better late than never.

Re: The advertisings on this forum

Hmmm. I've used the 'Brave' browser since the beginning and I have never had any problems here. https://brave.com/ :)

I do keep the 'Google' browser as a handy second option (only if I think my browser might be an issue, as in 'blocked' content)

Good to know my system works well

add a constant into compiler options -> constants
Sorry... I missed that 'complier options' part. (even though you made it obvious) :(

Yes, I get the same results as you.

True.. but worth every penny! How else would I have found PureBasic?

No, seriously, over the years I've really enjoyed using computers. :D

Re: Happy Birthday, IBM PC!

I bought mine at a just opened 'IBM Store' in Dec 1981. Cost with a dual-floppy (160kb capacity), mono-chrome monitor, and an IBM dot-matrix printer was $7,100 CAD (6,000 USD). I remember because a 'leasing expert' came into our business and wanted to give us a 4 year lease for over $11,000, which I ...

Requester() issues

I've got a problem that seems simple.. I'm creating a golf application on an 8" Windows 11 Tablet (with a touch-screen).

Because the built-in tablet keyboard takes over the available screen space, I decided to create numerical 'buttons' on the bottom of a 593px x 1024px screen.

The form looks ...

HotKey System(Windows only)

Been working and adding to this, because I needed it for a program that I'm working on.. I think it's fairly complete.
Have a look, perhaps I missed some things.
