This is wonderful news. I can start programing on my old XP SP3, which by the way goes very well, and when I will purchase a better machine I can still run the PB. The only fear now is the learning curve of PB, but I see a lot of good support on this forum and with some documentation ...

This is encouraging. I will follow the suggestions and play with the Demo for a while to get a feeling of the capabilities and performance. As far as I have read and seen, PureBasic seems very solid, has good documentation and excellent support forum.
