Dudes, look under the hood... Win7 IS Vista... the only diff is the eye candy, a few cosmetic changes to the way the GUI is organized and the minor revision number in the OS descriptor. Win7 is the same bunch of crap that Vista was, repackaged and targeted at the HTPC crowd...

UAC is still there ...

Using PB and CLIPS in games?
CLIPS really isn't suited for game usage, unless, you're programming something like text adventure. Perhaps where an NPC might infer or divulge information given a number of inputs...

I've used CLIPS in some custom data mining applications and it's very useful.

A PB ...

Blender is a great tool, but you'll probably pull your hair out trying to learn the interface. I use it, but only the texturing and animation tools.

Wings3D is wonderfully simple to use, and has been my favorite for a long time. It doesn't do booleans or extrude along path operations, but there ...

but I consider my bike ('99 ST1100 Honda) the best bike ever.

I'm a big fan of the ST1100 as well and consider it one of the best designs Honda ever produced. I was actually in the motions of buying a used ST1100 from a local shop when a friend who rides an RS told me about one in Salt Lake City ...

Cool! I'm outside of Twin Falls, and I'm a Rush fan as well... I'm actually hoping to buy some property up your way for a retirement bungalow in a few years. Beautiful area Northern Idaho...

Way cool! I've played bass and guitar (electric and acoustic blues mostly) for about 30 years now. I used ...

If I remember correctly, NT's multi-threading is not optimized for Dual Core processors. It worked fine with DUAL processors, but the pipes and instruction queues on dual core chips are not the same as those for dual processors...

XP was patched some time ago for dual cores, but I don't think NT ...

But unless I have heard wrong (and I may have) OpenGL ES is a Java based subset...

Nah, it's just that the Java guys jumped on it first because of the availability of a JVM for mobiles. The actual JVM name escapes me at the moment, but I was messing about with it about a year ago. OpenGL ES is ...

Hey Rook, I've had a long time interest in producing a 2D Isometric engine. Isometric is still a game genre that has some worthwhile activity is seems.

Something I've considered, in addition to what has been said is the ability to read Mappy files. Why build an editor when a very good one is ...

Do you get 7+ pages of replies about stuff against you?

Hmm... well you're a female in a forum that has been mostly dominated by males of various maturity and libedo levels... Just you being *here* in the forum is distracting enough WITHOUT "smoochie boochies"... LOL!

Anyway, I'm glad you ...
