Threads tend to meander and go off topic. Removing a thread started by a spammer then removes these other posts and some users get peeved.

Now that you've explained it - that is clever in at least two ways.

I would say that the #MB* and #ID* constants are windows-specific, unless Fred has specifically put them into the other platforms. I am not sure what the linux or mac-os equivalents are. But you could perhaps use your own and "includefile" those constants for the platform, eg:

Perhaps stick with 3.94 for situations where it is best to do so? Think of it as having two languages for the price of one. (V3.94 and V4.00).

V4.00 is superior in many ways. However if a conversion is going to be a massive undertaking, then 3.94 is still there.

Has anyone tried this (beta) yet?
