Midi handling in OSX

Hi,

I have several years of experience in handling midi under Windows in various languages, but not under OSX or Linux.

I would very much like to port some of my apps to OSX (and Linux) but have found really very little or no docs the subject of handling midi ports.

Anyone ?

Hi,

how about using the WebGadget for executing dynamically generated javascript and PB handling postbacks (url loads) ?

That way you could have a decent dynamic language and facilitate it with suitable PV backend.

I might give this a try since I need this too.

Answering myself ...
I read the errors more closely and understood that Macbuntu is interfering here.
(the icons were missing too, I should have noticed, but I thought that linux version was maybe more barebones or something ... silly me)

So I created myself another user without Macbuntu, went in ...

The fact that you did respond makes me value this product and community a lot more.

Unfortunately the easy answers didn't cut it.
But I think that this will help you.
When running from console the console was filled with thousands of these lines ...
