does anyone know how to define a different name for a screensaver for the windows screensaver settings instead of the filename itself? for example having a screensaver file called "mysaver.scr" it is normally listed in the settings screen as "mysaver", but i'd like to have "my lovely saver 1.0 ...

thanks for the information! as far as my evaluation goes i found a lot of commercial games using blitz3d and some in darkbasic. darkbasic looks quite crappy, but the blitz3d games look very fine. do you think the 3d engine of purebasic could compete with the blitz3d engine especially regarding ...

yeah. using mappy as a standard for tilebased games is a perfect idea. when the pb codes are ready i think they should also be posted on the mappy site to give purebasic more attention (blitz and dark are also linked there).
