Re: Someone is selling my free software :(

Someone bought JLC's Internet TV from this page:

What should I do?

Copyright infringement is a federal crime in the US, so they got no choice than to prosecute that if they become aware of.

Listen dude. When you first start it olly first dissassemble it, you got to push the run button to see the decrypted view. For example, if you have a self-modifying program that decrypts a part of itself when you want to do it, you first have to run through till you arrive at the destination its ...

The dump in my posting was from Ollydebug.

Re: Really good protection system?

Any suggestions?

Currently I am having a look at http://www.oreans.com/codevirtualizer.php for a C project. It seems to be possible to be used with PB aswell. Seems, because I did no extensive tests, and even if, I can't say anything about the safety of it (except that anything is crackable).

Yes. Moving to the top of the league now! :)
PB grows up but is not yet near the top of the league. Why? The performance is great but what I miss is functionality. Some people claim that there are already too many commands but for my taste there could be some more. If you write a more professional ...

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will try a different approach to the explanation.

PC A and PC B are connected via a local area network.

PC A receives external requests and is behind a firewall/hardware router.

Any requests to port 687 on PC A, I need to forward to PC B which is not connected ...

Here on PB 3.94, AMD 64 proc, traumatic code reports correctly, gnozal code says 0 in all cases.

AFAIK, gnozal's code times execution speed (which is slower with enabled debuggers). You probably need to adjust the CMP Eax,$96 for a correct result, but probably it does not work with the PB ...

@ Dare

You raise some good points and indeed this is a tough topic one can't solve in an absolute objective manner, as it comes down to different perceptions, as usual with humans.

It reminds me of the frequently occuring question "Am I allowed to make a DLL in PureBasic for use in another ...

Time to take a deep breath, everyone.
