Re: PDF Document
You sound a lot like me. 4 different pair of glasses, all necessary and I still put the wrong damned ones on.Note to self: Put the right glasses on when programming, not the first pair that come to hand...

I take o-fence at windows o-fender o-fending me so often that I now take a rail post instead of a whole fence:):)
Seriously though, malwarebytes (bytes me very little these days) and o-fender seem to get along better and better these days on this machine. Wonder how long that will last???

Re: Arduino dev under windows?
If you want to code like basic language, you can try B4R: https://www.b4x.com/b4r.html Thanks but I want to do it with PureBasic. I am fast running out of brain at my age to learn anything new outside of PB and have had lots of health issues. I'll be lucky if I ever finish my current monster projec...

Arduino dev under windows?
I've only dabbled in Arduino under windows for 2 years so never tried to do it under PB yet. Can you code for a a Duino under PB for Windows and if so, which compiler? Can anyone tell me what to do as I am interested. First thing I ever got working was the ESP32CAM programmed from the Arduino and it...

Re: Multiple DatabaseUpdate inside DatabaseQuery issue
Oso, the data worked once my tired brain figured out to use beta 9 and which was the right flag to use. But somewhere during the import, some strange characters must have made it into the imported database (Standard GetDataBaseString etc, nothing fancy) and at least 15 records are not being retrieve...

Re: Multiple DatabaseUpdate inside DatabaseQuery issue
Bugger me sideways with a fresh halibut. My trick of using the editorgadget to strip rtf data from a database record no longer works. Not in 6.02 anyway so I guess it's the brick wall for my face for now.

Re: Multiple DatabaseUpdate inside DatabaseQuery issue
Wow! 2023 and I have to strip rtf code again the old fashioned way. Funny thing too, I loaded the database with fields containing rtf data into SqliteExpertPersonal and tried to display a field and it doesn't even show the data, just the rtf encoding. Guess my tools have not kept pace with developme...

Re: PureVision - form designer is still working?
I use it most days and it works fine. Paul drops into the forum from time to time so I know he is alive.
My current project has 44 forms and hundreds of controls and works great.
I also sent him a PM recently and he replied.

Re: It's too hot for programming

The diabetes makes me cold and my hands and feet always freeze (Reynaud's I think) but 45??? I may as well lay down in the basting pan for that:):) Just one thing, I prefer to be b...
