With a little effort PB should run on most any Linux distro. I run PB on MX Linux with no issues.

Try just F5 without using the Shift key, if you make changes you need to recompile and if you're using shift you're not recompling

Seems to me Python would be a great option for this situation. FREE and open source with lots of modules free for the taking

And he is active on those compiler forums expecting other...
