It is sad to see that Team PB had decided to go into the advertising business instead of just sticking to programming.

If Team PB needs more income, I would think that actually finishing the GUI Designer and selling it for $40 (USD) would bring in more money within a month of release than the ...

It may or may not. I haven't looked. PB does usually tend to lag behind somewhat when it comes to Ogre feature implementation.

Not exactly a bad thing as it gives the Ogre folks time to get the bugs out of those new features before Fred implements them in PB :wink:

PB updated the engine to the latest version, but PB "may" have not updated the commands to take advantage of the features in the new version of Ogre.

... being built from scratch... and ...exploring... typically indicate we will never see anything beyond proof of concept... especially if one of the parties involved is called... MicroSoft...

MS did wonders with Singularity. Paul Barham, Tim Harris and Rebecca Isaacs all worked on Singularity ...

MS already has made changes to Word to bypass the patent. It is just a matter of getting the new versions out, although I expect MS will file an appeal which, if nothing else, will give them the time they need to recall all of the old boxes of software and get the new ones on shelves.
