Any way to do that?

I assume it would have to go through an admin, but I don't know which one...

wtsapi32.lib missing?

when attempting to use the routines involved with session lock/unlock, I got the following error:

WTSRegisterSessionNotification_() is not a function, array, macro or linked list.

Looking in the pb folders, I found that there is no wtsapi32.lib library (or I missed it).

The associated constants ...

Re: Long Line Split

It's been requested MANY times.

I'd like to add my name to the list of folks requesting it. As has also been stated many times before, the old VB method of using space-underscore is fine with me, particularly if it allows comment characters and comments on the lines (for tutorial code, or note-to ...

Re: Yate - yet another text editor

In your 'wish list' on the download page you specify 'syntax highlighting (maybe)'. If you pursue that path, please consider making the editor easily customizable via the use of syntax word lists external to the program and perhaps an option to automatically uppercase all key words.

If I pursue ...

Re: Yate - yet another text editor

When launching Yate with Wiondows XP SP3 French and PureBasic Final 4.31

Ligne 2 Global app.name$ : app.name$ = "Jate build " + Str(buildnum)
Structure name$ not found

KIKI, are you sure you downloaded from the Yate pages? I ask because that code looks like something from an older project ...

Yate - yet another text editor

The title pretty much says it. This link will always lead to the latest release page link:

http://www.programmingforfun.net/#Yate

The current release is an MDI text editor with the basic capabilities I would expect from a notepad replacement, plus a line sort tool. More features to come, but ...

Maker, I'm finding that URL isn't working again!

The best thing would be to post the source code here.

Here 'tis.

You'll need Srod's merge code from here: http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.php?t=30992&highlight=utility+parsing+purebasic+source+file+creating+createing+single+source+file ...

I think that PB doesn't include unused procedures in the exe. Is this just to shorten the source code?

No, PB compiles and includes everything you put in your source. If you keep a lot of utility code in include files (as I do), it can bulk up your executable quite a bit unless you use something ...

v1.2 bug fix release

v 1.2 is available - fixed a couple of detection errors that allowed some unreferenced procedures to slip through the cracks (mainly recursive routines).

AntiComplaint

No, AntiComplaint is not a typo. I have recently been reminded, by a situation unrelated to PureBasic, that people who do a good job should, occasionally, be reminded of that fact by something a little more concrete that "ur compiler is GREAT! me too, me three, etc." I suspect that the creators of ...

Now, if your definition of "next window" differs from that of Microsoft, then take it up with them ;)

Cute.

Anyway, I guess I just got lucky (or unlucky, if you like) in my choice of programs in the past. Apparently their authors considered the MS definition of next to be backwards (as ...

I guess the problem sits in front of the computer ...

Yes, partly

The tile vertical/horizontal does okay with your 3 window sample, so I probably had something backwards in my original code (but see later in this post for what happens if you add more windows).

However, next/prev is ...

MDI arrangment commands reversed?

Has anyone else noticed MDI arrangement commands giving the reverse effect of what one would expect?

e.g.
In my test app:

SetGadgetState(mdinum, #PB_MDI_Next)
;shifts focus to the mdi window that was the previously focused mdi window

SetGadgetState(mdinum, #PB_MDI_Previous)
;shifts focus to the ...

The source for Trimmer 1.1 is at the end of this post. It depends on several chunks of code from srod.

The file named srod_merge.pbi came from this post:

that would cause a 403 on attempts to download the file without the referrer pointing to one of the site pages.

Wait, no, I just checked and it turns out I already changed those rules; the current behavior is to redirect to the trimmer html page if the file is requested with a blank referrer ...
