Re: Is printing okay on Mac?

There are several options on the mac besides PB's built in print.
You can use applescript, you can use the webprint userlib (http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtop ... 6&p=395875).
Using HTML formatted text gives you a more or less similar result regardless of platform.

Re: Question Dymolabelwriter

Hi.
I posted some code a while back that was the VBS and then run it thou CMD line.
However, there is differences in Dymo version 7 and 8.
Version 7 works with VBS, version 8 does not.
I do version 8 using javascript actually.
And I think it can be a good idea to look at their website for the JS ...

Re: TextEdit Gadget

C'mon Gaetan....
You know this is to good to be hidden away from the world.....
Trust me, its good enough to be used to 1000+ people daily in a commercial system - its good enough to be released.
Stop being such a perfectionist

Re: Help with live webcam code - OpenCV_PB?

Carmine 1.09 is not a normal webcam - it is Primesense 3d sensing device (like kinect). Does that really open in native opencv - dont you need to use openni and nite middleware?

Re: WebGadget flag to hide error popups

no that normal user message still popup - so we dont supress any "errors" (what is a error to IE is not what is a error to the rest of the world)

Sorry to be a a-hole - but there is a small box on your upper right hand corner with a magnify glass and the text "Search..."... try it?

Re: DrawImage: Draw to image with same size need too long

I tried 64 bit 5.11 and for me it was not double time... also tried 5.10 and could say see the same trend there but 5.11 seem faster in general?
Is it a bug really?

Pb 5.11 64 bit
499 x 299 = 2527 ms
499 x 300 = 2543 ms
500 x 299 = 2543 ms
500 x 300 = 2839 ms
500 x 301 = 2559 ms
501 x 300 = 2574 ms ...

Going crossplatform with this would basicly require using canvasgadget and making the gadget from scratch, or?

What you mean with image browser? Look for files in a directory that are jpg/png/gif and show thumbnails?

Re: Freezes I can't identify why or where?

Hi.
Yes i work with window event, both NewEventHandlerUPP_ (carbon) and currentEvent = oMsg(0, sharedApplication, "currentEvent") (cocoa) - but that comes later in the program. The crash (usually) occurs way before this.

Re: Freezes I can't identify why or where?

The memory usage is what to expect. Sometimes it bounces up high, but not with these crashes. The thing is the compiled program itself is just getting started upon the crashes and it seems it doesnt matter much what I do with my code (I have a errorhandler installed but its not being called ever ...

Re: Freezes I can't identify why or where?

I removed all use of threads. This happens regardsless of debugger or if its a production executable.
It will freeze or crash and can do so on either;
1. First webgadget (most common crash) on the waitwindowevent (like in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpXq5YnD3mE&t=0m52s or http://www.youtube.com ...
