Re: Marketing PB, 10 years

It's all well and good to put information on the website to advertise PB's 10 year achievements, but how would they know about the site in the first place :?: I believe business should be advertised via word of mouth not marketing *bling*, if you have a really good product it will sell itself anyway ...

Hi guys,

Most of you have probably heard of this, as I'm always one of the last to know LOL, but if your student, you have the

I get the same as everyone else, you need to use lighter colours as it is way to heavy on the eyes.

Another thing I noticed, you need a facebook account to view the pictures, could you make those images public as not everyone has facebook or wants to sign up for an account.

Antiryad Gx Engine

Has anyone used this engine before? I've been playing around with the examples - takes a little while to get used to it, it looks pretty good.

Hi Richard,

Sorry to 'hijack' your thread

The work you do looks very interesting, how would I go about getting into the industry, do you know of any courses that would be a great asset to get started?

With the numerous courses around it's hard to choose what to sign up for, if you could ...

to be honest, saving a file as a blob isn't really worth the effort, you may aswell save the file in a folder with a reference to the file saved into a table, saves on database load and works alot quicker.

I don't really know enough about PureBasic yet, but I'm sure there is a way to manipulate the image using memory blocks, I might look further into this problem unless someone knows how to code this.

I decided to 'take the plunge' and purchase PureBasic, I really like the fact it creates small and compact exes - which is one of the main features I was looking for and I'm impressed with all the features it has to offer especially supporting OpenGL natively :)

Many thanks for everyones reply, I'm ...
