Really cool looking Language you got here,
If this will be able to handle Web-GL, and run on a Tizen OS device in HTML5 format, we all might have a new market in which to pitch our programs.

Re: small 2D shooter with some impressive effects
I've never felt the need for OOP, Sure I've used it. I do html5/javascript programming, so I have to use some of it.
But I stick to functions as much as I can while doing webpage development. I like the fact i can create a function, and call it. thats it. I dont have to create methods, worry about ...

Yea, I normally dont like to go off topic, laughs.., but I find games on my Droid to be a pain to play,

Fred, Fr34k, Benny, Andre, and anyone else that has worked or is still working on Purebasic has done a wonderful job and they all deserve a round of applause.

Re: Windows 8.1 (Windows Blue)
Windows 8 for desktops was designed so Microsoft could control the software market and cut out competition. Microsoft wants to control the software on desktops the way Apple does on the Iphone, so you will have to go to Microsoft's Apps Store to purchase any software, even Purebasic would have to ...

Re: Can PureBASIC run on a Raspberry Pi? Looked everywhere
yea, as I posted elsewhere, be a good move on Fred's part to make a small version of Purebasic that could run on the Raspberry Pi,
call it Pure_Pi Whipped Cream edition, or Pure-Pi WC.
Doesnt need to be fully compatible with PB, just be as easy to use is all,.
and Charge 50 bucks or so for it ...

Yea, I had to bump this post, mainly because I think that Fred and team could make a little cash developing a Basic for the Raspberry Pi, sell it for around 50 bucks. The raspberry Pi has sold over 1 million copies, I'm 1 million and 1,
