Re: PureBasic 6.00 Beta 10 released !

Imo having it as a global setting is better than not having it at all :(

You have to take the "Will Not Splatter Fly" bullet point with a shot of salt though 😉

Re: Sending simple text with bluetouth to the phone

And nothing in the Android Web browser :| Is that Chrome? 1) Is your phone's wifi connected to the same network as your PC? 2) Open a command prompt and type: ipconfig just to make sure the code has picked up the right IP address for your PC If both of those are OK I guess it's Windows Defender Fir...

Re: A new battery technology ?

As I understand it these batteries produce a very small amount of energy, for example in order to power a smartphone you'd need a battery the size of a tub of margarine.

These are only really useful for widgets like pacemakers or IoT sensors not smartphones or EVs.

Bump.

I know this is an old bug report but it would be nice if it could be fixed in PB 6.0

Re: PB[C] - Include path for C headers

You shouldn't be using #include </path> for your files that's for system files, like #include <stdio.h> Thanks. To import portaudio for instance I did this ImportC "-lportaudio" : EndImport ;tel the linker to include the lib !#include "/usr/include/portaudio.h" ;tell c where the...

PB[C] - Include path for C headers

How do I pass a C headers include path from the PB IDE to the gcc compiler?
Somehow I need to end up with:

Code: Select all

gcc ... -IC:\path\to\headers
Just using the absolute path for the include:

Code: Select all

!#include <C:\path\to\headers\header1.h>
doesn't work because header1.h may include header2.h etc...

Re: Automatically import c headers

@the.weavster I'm not sure how that works are the functions accessible from pb then or only js. Actually looking at your and juergen's code above I think maybe what I'm asking for already works just by using the ! line prefix  Just to clarify though... A variable works with the v_ prefix, exa...

Re: Automatically import c headers

I was hoping for something similar to SpiderBasic's EnableJS / DisableJS

So including a C header would be:

Code: Select all

EnableC
#include "myheader.h"
DisableC
