phpBB has an IP ban, just use it. I am not going to buy PureBasic and I'm not going to touch any code in my life ever!

Back when I was 14, I found Game Maker and I found it very cool and interesting to build my own games/applications.. then after looking for a real programming language, I found ...

No need for smilies.. I said that because I didn't see the Electron logo in the purchase page.. but if you purchased PB with Electron, then I think I'll buy PB if I have enough $$ in my Electron.

This is not an April Fool's joke, because:

I made this topic a day before April Fool's day, and in that time I didn't even remember tomorrow (*today*) would be April Fool's day.. Also, this is not a case of a phpBB forum hack.

Fred ...

Would be better if he buys PB now....banning does not gives Fred what he deserves... Thanks for clarifying.. I would buy PB, but it seems like it's impossible with a Visa Electron. Anyway, I think that I am so "keen" to get banned because I have betrayed the whole community by lying and using an ...

PB wrote:Is this just an April Fool's joke or real? You seem to want to be banned?
I am sure Fred has already noticed that I'm using an illegal version, but why doesn't he ban me.. now that's something I don't understand

I mean, it is sufficient to use an illegal version to get banned, right?

Forgive me Fred..

Hello Fred (and the rest of the PureBasic Team)!

I really like PureBasic and I really respect your work, but I have betrayed you. Yes, I have been using an illegal version of PureBasic for Windows. I know what I have done and I am really sorry about it, but as you see, my last post in some other ...

Wow, from what I read it doesn't even seem that PowerBASIC would be worth to leech from warez sites!

I get the FL Studio GUI to open up when executing through Wine, but as soon as I start to do something (for example, use the Piano-Roll), the GUI crashes with an unhandled exception. FL Studio just doesn't run under Wine.

I got Cubase somehow to run, but I needed to use a crack because Wine couldn ...

Maybe Vista doesn't come with Realtek AC79 drivers, but the drivers came with my motherboard support CD and they certainly are Vista capable. Anyway, I'll look for other drivers just incase it is a driver issue..

Without the 1 MB runtime, any given Visual Basic program cannot be run. That is for the old versions. The newer .NET versions of VB have 25MB+ runtimes  Microsoft :P

I really don't understand this .NET Framework stuff.. why is it so big? And why did Microsoft invent it? What "power" does it ...

The soundcard does accept microphone input, or else the mic wouldn't work in WinXP. My motherboard came with drivers for Vista and I am sure they are all installed succesfully. Yup, I have Logitech S200 OEM speakers, and the right speaker has a jack for headphones and a jack for a microphone. Yup, I ...

If you are using Vista and have sound or video issues, you really need to learn to live with the issues. Seriously, it will probably be Fall of '07 before the more serious Vista compatibility issues & driver issues are fixed. Thanks for pointing that out.. it might be that. I have always hated ...

There are 3 jacks:
One connected internally to the motherboard,
One in the right speaker,
One in the front panel of the ATX case.

I plugged my microphone into the one which is internally connected to the motherboard, and yes, my motherboard has in-box drivers for Vista.
