Floating Windows?

Is there any way within PB to make a window float above all others, even when it doesn't have focus?

Preferably I can find a way to do this in both Windows and MacOS.

@davido

Thanks for the reply. I did see RSBasic's post but then I saw mk-soft had an update to 1.03. I thought I might also take a look at his OOP stuff.

I'd love to try your EventDesigner, but your server is refusing the connection. Is it down temporarily or is there another way to access the files?

Great thread! I couldn't agree more with the OP.

Why does linux get second billing to windows when it comes to Purebasic?

I have been a windows user since Windows 3.1 (~1992.) I have tried several of the major linux distributions over the past few years. They still feel like something duct-taped ...

That's not in the readme file or the Announcement forum.

Help with beta debugger linker errors!

Is anyone else having problems compiling with the debugger enabled in this beta?

I always get a number of linker errors when the debugger is enabled, but everything is fine when it is not.

I have done a clean install of 4.10 and copied the beta files over it.

For example, when I compile MENU.PB ...

Just to update you guys using this,
Since I have gotten so many requests, the next version will be released with an option to use your own server/website. It will be pretty sweet - and with lots of features. It is still in the works, screenshots and videos are hopefully to come soon.

I haven't put much development into that because of security reasons I'm not sure if it would be a great idea,
plus in case I decide to charge at some point for this service it would be easier on my behalf. (I will not charge you or anyone else who has already used the program before)
This doesn't ...

Flype,

PureStorage will not allow new users to register (seems to have been some misbehaving.)

Can I get your libraries anywhere else?

Thanks!

Gnozal,

Any thoughts about adding a keyboard macro recorder to jaPBe?

I used to use a code editor (Borland's Delphi IDE) that had one and it made many things easier.

It used <Ctrl> 0..9 to record a macro and <Alt> 0..9 to play them back. That allowed 10 "slots" for keyboard recordings.

BTW, I ...

Are you saying that there is an alpha out?

If so, how do I participate?
