My advice: throw your newspaper away and get your daily news from http://www.prisonplanet.tv instead. After a few weeks of reading the collection of daily news that's selected on that website (news originating from many official sources like Reuters and Associated Press), you may begin to realize ...

It doesn't really matter who wins, these 2 guys have an almost identical voting record, at least when it comes to important issues like going to war. They are cousins to the 9th grade according to Associated Press and even 3rd grade according Reuters. And both are members of Skull and Bones, a ...

Someone wants to buy my sourcecode

Hi All,

Two years ago I made a progam in rapidq basic (I didn't know Purebasic back then) and I sold about 4 copies per year in a very specialized market, at 150 US$ per copy. That's a nice little extra for something that I made as a hobby-project!
Now some company wants to buy my source code. I ...

Keeping an image within an enclosed area

Most programming languages have a "gadget" to keep an image within a limited area of a window (i.e. "picturebox" in Visual Basic, or "canvas" in rapidq) so that if an image doesn't fit inside the defined area the part that doesn't fit is not displayed.

Just installed a new state of the art PC myself, and I couldn't believe how slow it was with XP and a few proggies installed. Then I found a very good tweaking guide on http://clankiller.com/tech/WinXP/ an especially the instructions about "services" helped speeding things up. Now I have fun again !
