Hello Rashad and thank you.
Nice to see you still haunting PB forums. :D
Everything is as it should be in my settings.
The only things that have changed since I finished the app that uses WingDIngs is the version of PB (I switched to 6.21) and the version of Windows. Since everyone reports that ...

Re: WingDings font not displaying
Works here too
Thank you Little John and Fred for taking the time to look into this.
I can see from Little John's screenshot that WingDings displays normally on his Windows box, but it does NOT on mine. The reason for that has to be Windows. If you compare the Windows version I'm running to the ...

Re: WingDings font not displaying
The text gadget is too small in width and the Text gadget makes a word wrap:
TextGadget(gi,10,gY,120,gH+30,txt$ + gi)
No.
The text (“1 élève” plus a 1 digit number), will fit easily in the allotted width.
You're confusing the text in the code with the content of the picture that follows the ...

Not sure if this a Windows problem
or a PB problem.
Windows X64 24H2 build 26120.6972
PB 6.21 x64
The following minimal code used to work some months ago,
but no longer does.
I suspect it's a Windows problem, rather than a PB one.

Re: Simple install of PureBasic (Ubuntu, Mint, Raspberry)
Well, once I finally understood the words in TI-994A’s instructions, it went well and I got PB installed in the folder of my choice in Mint 22. Everything works as expected : the icons, the opening of source files by clicking on them, the Help file, everything. However, I think that the instructions ...

Re: Simple install of PureBasic (Ubuntu, Mint, Raspberry)
Holy cow !
is everything this involved and complicated on Linux ?
I just installed Mint on a computer no longer able to run Windows. Win-11 simply won't install on it, no matter which trick i try.
So I decided it was time to dip a toe or two in Linux waters... and i definitely find the water cold ...

Re: PB 6.21 : #PB_Ignore BUG ?
You're right, Axolotl.
This is NOT a bug !
My expectations were wrong.
A major Thank you to moulder61 for delicately (and so discretely !) opening my eyes.

PB 6.21 : #PB_Ignore BUG ?
In the following short code, you will see that #PB_Ignore always returns the same value for X and Y parameters, no matter which one it is asked to replace.
Is that the expected behaviour ?
PS: UHD monitor with " Enable DPI aware " CHECKED. But I don't think that's relevant ...

A couple of years ago, we had 36° heat all summer, all the grass was dry, and the fields were yellow.
[…]
The forecast for July is 23-26°.
At temperatures like that, even people would turn yellow in Montreal (Canada) !
So, where is that ? You mention Russia/Ural before, but that’s a mega ...

Again, what’s your point exactly?
The tool presented in this topic uses the code you’re referring to to bring the window to the forefront. So what’s there to change ? My code is not worded the same, but it calls upon the same API function.

firstly - hwin is alway equal to 0, so test 'If hWin is never true.
secondly - I do prefer use API ShellExecute_() instead of RunProgram.
